What is the problem?
7.3 million tonnes of food waste cost Australia $20,000,000,000 every year.
The huge waste occurs in primary production, processing, distribution, retail, hospitality, and household sectors food waste in Australia is about 298 kg per capita 3.6 million Australians (15%) have experienced food insecurity at least
once in the last 12 months.Three in five of these individuals experience food insecurity at least once a month.

Introduction To Design Proposition
The proposition is to design an interactive Mobile app to target a broad range of people in Australia to prevent food waste in the hospitality and retail industry. The app would encourage people to collaborate in the system through a smart, rewarding arrangement. The stakeholders are mainly Australian Government, retailers, farms and the hospitality industry. The design proposition responds to the challenge of decreasing food waste by offering a new package of saved fresh foods that are collecting to be dumped due to the appearance, shape, or size on a daily bases in supermarkets, farms, restaurants and any other food-related industry.
Purpose
The purpose of the design is to raise awareness of food saving and to help people to achieve a better understanding of the hidden benefits of saving food. The system will create a new trade system where people can prevent the twenty billion dollars yearly lost in food industries

Paper prototype usability test
I repeated the wireframe design by conducting informal usability testing with the low-fidelity prototype. The participants provided feedback on error-prevention methods, accessibility, and discoverability of the UI.

Why oversize font and big buttons:
The proposed design aims to target all age group residents as the entire interactive system based on suppliers’ and consumers’ participation. However, capturing all groups attention and educating them through the interacting process is relatively difficult to achieve. As the system designed to target low-income people including pensioners, also because it will use in farms, restaurant, and supermarkets as fast past work environment considering big buttons and oversize font make it user-friendly app.
